Yeah, not to mention box steel is better for subframes than tubed. And the commentary was horrible as well.

Round vs square is a debate in itself.....Tube chassis are built from round tubing so I really question how square is better since it does seem like they would be built from the strongest material they could use.

Contact points for easier welding can be an argument for square vs round, but that still sounds like something done for convenience not strength.

Yep. And I'm hoping that guy just has a twisted sense of humor & made the video as a joke, because it certainly wouldn't do anything to improve any car. Using nuts as stand-offs to hold it away from the body & clear things (in his case, the exhaust)?
