roller rocker valve cover clearance ???'s
I have done a bunch of reading and a bunch of searches on what is necessary to modify the OEM valve covers to clear the Comp Cam Pro Mag steel roller rockers. I have found very very little info on this.
Can anybody point me to a previous thread--what to enter the search to find the correct info-- or give me some detailed info about what is necessary to do so they clear? PICS would be a great help!
THANKS!

what's the lift on that cam?centerbolt valve covers?if they are,my bet is that you'll have to go to an aftermarket valve cover like the proform.you might be able to space the stock ones or get a super thick gasket(cheapest and easiest"if it works").or you could get a set of the valve cover "converters that convert centerbolt heads to take a perimiter valve cover.not a cheap option at $150 from jegs, unless you can scrounge up a set on evilbay.then there's the fabricated aluminum ones for around $350 or so.
if you already have perimiter style valve covers aftermarket ones are a dime a dozen!heck,i have a set of bowtie chrome ones i'd sell for cheap.

He's using LT1 valve covers but they're pretty much the same as ours.

Even as simple as this is (now that I know what to do) this should be a sticky or archvied in the tech articles.
