Car: 89 GTA
Engine: 5.7 TPI L98
Transmission: 700R4 w/ Stage 2 shift kit & stall
1989 Trans Am GTA
Chicagoland Suburbs
Selling my 1989 Trans Am GTA with some tasteful modifications.
One of about 1,800 cars of this year [real hardtop GTA with proper badging]
Car is ridiculously clean for 26 years old
350 TPI fuel injection engine with 55k on it
-Intake
-Ported runners
-Ported throttle body
-Lower degree t-stat
-Full 3-inch exhaust
-Tune
-SVO "blue top" injectors
-Brand new Optima Red Top battery
-New starter
700R4 automatic transmission with 18k on it; has stall and shift kit
9 bolt rear end with 3.70 gears
130,000 miles on body
Interior is in near perfect condition
Car has OEM C6 Corvette wheels [as seen in first picture]
Front (245/40/18)
Rear (295/30/19)
Front brakes consist of a C6 Corvette rotor and caliper set-up custom powder coated gold with Trans Am decals
Full suspension and steering done in the last 500 miles:
BMR weld-on subframe connectors
Koni Yellow struts and shocks
Idler arm
Center link
Ball joints
Tie rods and Tie rod adjusters
Wonderbar steering brace
Tubular lower control arms and relocation brackets
Adjustable panhard bar
Adjustable camber/caster strut mounts
Kenwood head-unit with Alpine speakers all around and a 12-inch subwoofer
Car runs strong, don't does burn or drip fluids
Body is great with the exception of a rust bubble on the passenger side fender; you could eat off the undercarriage of this car which has been undercoated
Looking for $6,950 OBO, cash in hand for test drives.
I don't care that your friend's friend found one for $1,500; this is not your average thirdgen.
If you have any questions or want more pictures, please let me know. I've had the car for nearly five years.

Re: 1989 Trans Am GTA
Most likely going to be putting different wheels on and lowering the price accordingly.

Nice looking car. I think your in the same boat I am. Seems like there is almost no market for a 3rd gen Trans Am right now.

Re: 1989 Trans Am GTA
What is your bottom price on this car?
Do you have any more pictures showing inside, engine, exterior, possibly underside of car?
What mods where done to the headlights?
Beautiful car
Thanks
