I am looking for a GTA that has a 350, and t-tops. I would like the car to be original and very close to stock and not have more than 50K miles. I have money in hand and ready to buy. PM me if you have something that fits my criteria or have questions. Thanks.

NO, just an FYI. What I have is a 88 hardtop.

NOT if he wants a 350. 89 is the only year they came with factory t's and a 350. He can have other any of them with a 305.

 

Wrong. 89 was not the only year a L98 and TTops were available. Thanks for playing. Pontiac order sheets show that it wasn't available in 87 but a few seemed to have gone out(even verified by FrankieRider from the GTASourcePage). Not to mention there are '88's out there with the L98/CC1 combo. Go on Ebay and look at the VIN's, they're there. A guy around the corner from me is selling an 88 GTA, L98/CC1..and yes it's a L98 going by the VIN.

I'm not trying to flex my knowledge here but to tell the guy he's limited to only 1989 is just wrong. Is that his best chance to find a L98/Ttop car? Absolutely but he shouldn't be limiting himself to just one year.

 

This is what I thought from my reading and research but I was not going to get into a discussion as to who is right and wrong. If you look at my initial post I did not request a year. That is why I said GTA. I am very knowledgeable about Mustangs and just starting to expand on TAs and Camaros. Thanks to all who chimed in. How about a car for sale.

 

Sorry man, I didn't mean to clutter up your thread, I just didn't want you to be misinformed and limiting yourself to one year. There are other years other than 89 though 89 will be your best bet to get what you want. Did you try ebay and Craigslist?
