I thought I would start a new thread just for the Third GEN CAMARO LED digital taillights from Spaghetti Engineering.

I just wanted to post pricing on DIGI-TAILS Digital Sequential LED Taillights for the 86-92 IROC'S. 82-92 models TBA. The prices are as follows:

$299.00 taillight kit, which includes four PCB boards per kit (two boards in each housing), two PCB boards with 90 amber LEDS on each and two boards with 99 red LEDs on each for a total of 378 LED's per kit. This kit also includes a PCB LED bulb for the corner light. This kit can also be an all red LED application.

$349.00 full kit: This includes all mentioned in the kit above but this also includes 2 Electronic Flashers and 2 PCB LED Reverse bulbs.

Installation will not require cutting your housing and installation is simple. There is the option of whether or not to use sequential. This is turned on or off with a dip switch located on the back of the boards. So if you want standard mode you can have that as well.

We are out of prototype and into pre-production!! We appreciate everyone's patience over the last several months.

Who cares what kind of discount it is! I have yet to see any kind of "Group Purchase" price. A discount is a discount! $30-$35 saved, depending on what kit you get, that's a tank gas and lunch! Just tyn to help a few folks save a little.

They have them pretty much ready. They are finalizing the wiring and the final testing of the product before it gets sent out to the public. Should be VERY SOON.

So you have to take apart you lights and install these panels?

 

yes, you have to take appart the lense from the taillight housing to install any led taillight kit

I actually just got mine ups today!!! it took like 2 1/2 weeks to get them. nail bitting for 2 1/2 weeks..n-e-way, took me a couple of house to wire it up and make the wires look decent. i love these leds!!!! much briter. the pics/videos don't do them much justice. u gotta check them out for your self. my suggestion to n e one who gets them, wire it up first and check to be sure everything is working. then go to the disassemble of the housing. btw, that was a sench too. i'm the first to have them here and i can't wait to see heards turn.

Yeah I have a photo review of every step I did (literally 300 pics) including videos but I just never have had the time to write the review and post them just yet. It's true, the video just CAN'T give you the true brightness of these! I've had people stop traffic (literally stop in the middle of intersections to have me roll my window how and comment to me on the lights). lol

I set them up with a power supply at my car shows and it definitely is a show stopper when people come by.

It should be noted that you CANNOT rely on the instructions.. least for the 1992 Camaro the wiring in completely different. I ran into many problems because I followed the wiring.. a LOT of trial and error because there are many more wires than what is shown, ground is not the same wire nor color, colors are different or not there..

Also the sockets for the LED bulbs are a bit different that I had to hack the sockets to allow them to make contact.

But the end result is truely impressive!

The opening of the stock lights were NOT fun.. WORST part I think out of it all..

FYI: You may at times come across the bug in the system (However they did mention they would program a delay to prevent this). I reported it to them and they explained the situation.

Try this.

With the car in drive, put the car into park, lift the emergency brake, and pump the brakes, you may notice (if you can see the rear lights either reflecting off something or have someone stand behind the car) one of the turn signals will momentarily strobe at random. Seems to occur more when you put it into park.

I discovered it will do this at random when you apply the brakes while driving on the roads (friend followed me and noted it).

Upon checking with Michael at Spaghetti engineering replied with

 

Well it does say it was preformed on an 85 so thats good news to know for later 3rd Gen folks. also something i did not know prior to this install is that the blinker flasher is up there same center as all the rest just a lil higher. went a whole day without blinkers because i didn't have the electronic flasher in. but now everything is working like it should and i love it. and since i have the 86, my 3rd brake light just blends rite in. its like the brake lights all strobe together. i lover everything about this install and the folks there. i mean u wanna talk about good customer service/ these dudes get 5 outta 5!!!!!

While The video itself is nice, I really don't think it's appropriate for that type of language being posted on here.

In otherwords, if anyone is about to view this video from your workplace with the audio on, advisable to turn it off and watch the video WITHOUT sound.

 

 

gets kinda confusing what's going on with the lights after a while w/ the turn signals and brakes going on and off intermittently. That probably wouldn't be allowed here.
