cant read id code on tag under winshield and car has been repainted so no sticker to find number on to find out what the car is exactly that i just went out to wyoming and hauled back to here, it has the fender vents things and the black finned things in the bumper on both sides and the big cowl bulge and rear facing intake screen on hood on pass side mostly, I cqan see H digit though, so i guess was originally 305 non HO, now is TBL suffix code engine now with dynomax chrome headers(am removing and selling the pair, are brand new not run on even for a split second yet))

where else can id number of car be found on it ??

The VIN derivative is stamped on the engine block and contains divsion, model year, assy. plant, and production number. This # will be on a pad, front of block, below the right cyl head.

The vin should also be on a label, on most F bodies they are in the console.

GM didn't put VIN lables on cars till 86 or 87 when the fbodies were the most commonly stolen cars on the roads.
