T-tops and 1990

According to the White Book, you could NOT get T-tops and a manual tranny in 1990.

Have you guys found this to be pretty accurate? I know I have caught little errors here and there with the White book.

I was hoping to find a 1990 IROC-Z 305/5spd with T-tops to drop in a ZZ4 and possibly a T-56 in the near future. I guess I will have to go auto.

You might have missed something. You could not get a 350 with ttops or a 5 speed. I think you could still get T's with 305 5 speed cars in 90.

Not according to the White book, which is my point. (and question)

Does ANYONE have a 1990 Camaro 305/5spd with T-tops?

I'd assume you could get the 305/5speed with t-tops in 90 as you could go G92 305/5speed with t-tops 91-92... which is what i'd like to get a hold of... Black or Blue

According to the White Book, you can't do that in 91 or 92 either.

CC1 not available with manual tranny or G92, in 90-92.

Hmmm... I don't want to start a huge argument here, but i've seen a dual cat, rear disc brake 305 5speed with t-tops (91/92)... I don't know though, i'll just assume someone messed with it... but i'll hope they are out there....

Demon, you will definitely not be starting an argument with me. Maybe with the White Book. But not me.

I am just trying to verify if this is correct or not.

I just know how i've seen some topics blow up over option issues... Anyway, now that it could be disputed, I definetly want to know as i've always thought you could get a 91/92 305 5spd G92 with t-tops and that's what i've been trying to find. I need to get a white book

Does your T/A have 4 wheel disc brakes? 3.42 rear? etc...etc...? That's the main thing here. I've been finding plenty of 305/5speed t-top 91/92's, but none are G92 equiped.

Speaking for T/A, in 91& 92 if you got the 305/5-spd you automatically got R6P/G92 unless you deleted it. T-Tops had nothing to do with this. The only reason I don't have it is again, it only came standard on the 305/5-spd combo, not with the auto.

My friend ordered 91 Z28 new 1991. He couldn't order a T-tops and the H.O. 305/5 speed or 350/auto. I assume by High Output he meant G92, a RPO code probably wouldn't have made much sense to us then....

not that this will matter much, but i've seen the 305 manual with t-tops many times........stock, restored, modified; they are out there.

it's only the 350 that is a hard case.

if your car had a 305 you could have t-tops no matter what in any year.

My camaro is a 90 with ttops and 305tbi 5speed with a 3.08 posi rear (drum). It was originally med maui blue metallic. Any other questions? It also has the iroc hood. It was an ordered car meaning it was not bought off the lot.

Some people had aftermarket T-Tops done when they weren't available.
