Iam going to look at a 87 Iroc 350 TPI with 44k original miles(or so the ad says) he wants $5,000 for it does this sound like a good deal? he said it is in mint cond. or am i better off sticking to my original plan and keep looking for a 88 or 89?

 

Maybe, thats what I'm looking for. Price does seem low for the miles but go look anyway. 87's are great, I like those IROC-Z's best of all Third Gens, and they are the 1st year of the 350 in the Camaro again. Tell us how it goes.

 

That does seem like a really good price! Check the car over carefully and keep us posted.

 

Ok i will definately keep you guys posted but i won't be going to see it until tuesday or wendsday because the owner is away for the holiday weekend.But i have my fingers crossed if everthing checks out ok i will be the proud new owner of a 87 iroc.Damm i can't wait

 

Sometimes as luck would have it, those once in a lifetime deals come to the lucky few. I hope it is everything the man says and you come out a winner.

 

Also to make sure it is a real 350 check the 8th digit of the vin number and make sure it is an 8. If there is any other number such as an "F" then it is a 305 car. Good luck.

Hey whats up sorry i didn't get back sooner but i have been searching the classifieds for another car.As luck would have it when i called the owner on the tuesday after memorial day at around 12pm just as the owner told me to do.This ******* comes out and tells me sorry another person had come that same morning and left a deposit and was picking up the car later that day.Man i tell you i wanted to reach into the phone grab his neck and choke him he swore to me that he wouldn't show the car to anyone before me.He gave me some bull**** excuse he didn't think i was gonna call and he was sorry. Yeah right! Needless to say i was upset for days i had my hopes really high that i was gonna buy it .Anyway the search is back on but it's real hard to find a clean Iroc that hasn't been beat to death plus i want a 350 and will not settle for a 305 but i'll keep looking and one will turn up but i will probaly never find a deal like that one.
