Berger Chevrolet

Those who know their Camaro history will be familiar with the Berger name. I know they became well known in the 60's for their modified camaros, I also know that they sell modified 4th generation camaros. Did they ever produce any 3rd gen modified camaros? If they did does anyone know what modifications they made to these cars?

Have heard of the 1st and 4th gen Berger history, but do not know of any special third-gens to come out of that dealership.

Berger did not make any 3rd gen performance improvements. Their reintroduction into the supercar arena was in 2000.

and even still its questionable wether it's worth the price tag.........guess like anything else if you want the name then go for it.

so many berger owners were upset when they had their 4thgens dynoed at the last years supefest it wasn't right........some were slower than stock ss camaros. never seen so many upset people.

Man that sucks for them! Those things are expensive. Kinda like the Cobra owners dilema I guess.

That would be hard to take, laying out all of that extra cash only to be slower than a stock ss.

I know this answer is about 23 years late. Berger did sell a white I believe it was a 1990 that had a lingenfelter 383, zf-6 speed 11” wheels on the back with 315/35/17. As far as I know the car had never been titled but sold off their used lot sometime around 1995 or 96

Was it pale yellow? Matt Berger had his personal 3rd gen Camaro built up and was sold on their used car lot at some point. I live about 25 miles from Berger and they sponsor my Camaro club.
