what is a S/A firebird?????
my freind has a 1992 firebird with a 305 V8 it says S/A on the back bumper what does this mean.

ditto, i have no clue what S/A is and i cannot find any thread in the serch feature that has anything to do with answering what it is.

nope it says S/A unless they messed up and made it an A thats what it says on the back bumper. so i guess no one knows what it means huh?

The Firebird S/A was in fact a Factory designation on base model Firebirds with the Trans Am Sport Appearance package that were made for the Sacremento region of CA. They were 89 or 90's, I can't remember for sure. Nothing special at all.
