It's the one on the left.
I'm not sure if it was ever offered as an option on the Birds--it definitely was on the Camaros tho.

Oops!
That's a mirror out of a Dodge--but it's similar to that-but has a small dial on the right--sorry 'bout that.

It was an option on the Firebirds too... and other GM cars. They're heavy, bulky, and generally they don't work anymore.

In a thumbs up/thumbs down review, I'd have to give the auto-dimming rear view mirror... The Finger.

Mine still works in my '87 GTA. Although I must agree that I hate that tilt away mirror. Mine probably still works because I never use it. In fact, I never have since day one. I tried it but just didn't like it.

I dont use mine that offten because I cant stand the buzzing it puts off. But I am keeping it stock on my car since for 87 In the Camaros only 901 were Optioned with this mirror.

Actually, there were more than 901 produced. As Willie and Drew very kindly pointed out to me years ago, the 87 model was the first year for option packages. Chevrolet started keeping track of the options as individual items, then as packages. They eventually stopped counting because they weren't consistant with the way they documented the numbers. This rear view mirror option was standard on option package 3 cars. There are quite a few option 3 cars made since it also included the other Camaro models. It was also available as an individual item on any of the cars. Chevy's accuracy for numbers in 87 was way off!
