Wanted: Calling all Camaro Owners with GM Restoration Packages

Does anyone here have any GM Restoration Packages? I am gathering ALL YEARS worth and are looking for scanned images of the "Interior/Exterior Color Combination page" that is in the packages.. Sometimes also titled "Seat Style & Trim Combinations"

I am looking to have a collection for ALL 35 years. GM only sends 1 per household and so I am hoping some enthusists here would be willing to help me out.

Thank you all for your help.

I was on your site and noticed the brochures section. I have other versions of brochures that you don't have (probably Canadian). Such as:

-1991 Camaro (even has Players 1LE blurb)
- 1 page (2 sides) 1987 Camaro
- 1987 "Performance Cars" - same camaro pictures, but cover is different, and some of the layouts
- 1988 "Performance Cars" - same camaro pictures, but cover is different, and some of the layouts
- 1986 Camaro - sligthly different

I don't wish to part with them, but I am interested in contributing.

Likewise, I am collection Players Challenge (GM Motorsports) specific information.

Mark.

If you're just looking for the interior information, I'd be happy to provide it after I get all the packages.

I was hoping to be able to have some unique info on the IROC Homepage by listing the info from the resto kits, but if all you want is the interior information I'd be happy to provide it.

ONE per household????? THat must be new because when I got mine I sent them my Vin number to all my cars (via Email) & got all 5 of them.

If you get a vin Number to the type & year of car you are wanting one. (like a 82 camaro) you can email GM or Call them.
heres the copy of the email I got when I ordered my Trucks & Blazers

Yes, my appologies. I worded my message wrong. What I meant to say was they will send 1 per Registered VIN number which you are the owner of.

If you own a 1992 Camaro and you give them your 1992 VIN, they will send the 1992 Package. But they won't send you a 1989 package if you don't own a 1989 Camaro. :-)

Would you be willing to scan the Interior/Exterior Color Combination Pages for us? A large table indicates the exterior colors, interior colors, interior types (cloth, leather, etc), and models. It then indicates what exterior colors are available for which interior colors and which interior types are allowable with these which particular Camaro models of this year.

We of course will show credit to you and your site for our contribution to the site.

Thanks very much,

Do you have a digital camera? Or would you be willing to photocopy the pages (imagine it would be 1 page that contains the Interior/Exterior Color Combo chart) and mail it to me?

http://www.camarosource.ca/1989_int_...lor_combos.jpg is basically the table.

What year Camaro Packages do you have?

If you could, we would very much appreciate it.

Thanks

Because of this thread here and on another site, I have contacted GM and requested a couple of years restoration packs. I did NOT give a vin number and do NOT own the years that I requested and they are sending me the 88 and 90 packets.

Hmm.. I wonder how many they would send.. So far, i've phoned 3 times and they either say they don't know about it, don't send any anymore, or just don't know what I am talking about and try to forward you to a new number.

Problem is I was told they charge for Canadians. So I would have to pay for them.. I wonder what they would say to me asking for 10 at a time :-)

Scott, did you call them or leave an email?

I called them at 1800-222-1020, gave the guy my mailing info and phone number, he then transferred me to the customer service department that handles restoration packs, I requested the 88 and 90 packets, they verified my address and I hung up. I was on with them for about 5 minutes max.

email sent to US, and Canada.. see what there reply says. US is free but they said passed me over to Chevrolet Canada so I assume they won't send to Canada. And from what i've read, they charge for the package for Canadians. I'm curious as to how much it will be.
