I know this may seem like a stretch, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any quality used sports car dealers who may have third gens lying around. I'm strongly considering buying another one, but I don't want a rat. I want a nice one, and am willing to pay $8-10k for what I want...a clean, under 40k mile IROC/GTA/TA. All thats around here are the typical under 5k rats. Of course, there's eBay...but I was wondering if there was a dealer somewhere I could actually call, and speak with an actual person.

I won't be able to do this for some time, as I need to sell the Grand Am on the lot at work, get my equity out of it (about $5,000), then buy something new and cheap (aka Sunfire??? ) with no $$ down, and still be able to lower my payment! Only then can I swing the third gen...so this is still at least a few months away.

Any ideas? I just wanna get back in the third gen game again!

I love your car, but in all honesty, I would like lower mileage...but without a doubt that car is gorgeous. I hope it goes to a good home...

 

There is a dealership near here in a little town called Ball, Louisiana. The place is called Select Motors. They have had some pretty nice cars in the past. They don't specialize in only sports cars, but the owners are car nuts and they do have some very nice cars from time to time. They also do their own in house resto work from what I hear. I'll try to see if I can find their website. They will also look for cars if you tell them what you are seeking. If I can find the website, I'll post it.

Click on firebirds on the left hand side after scrolling down for a bit. Prices are a little high i will admit...but thats the only place ive seen that has nice 3rdgens.....with low mileage. Hope this helps. I know what you mean....im still trying to look around for a 91-92 formula 350 thats in nice shape.
