305 TBI is engine code LO3 which has 170hp and 255tq.

Performance Suspension could be either WS6 or F41.

Look in your center console for your RPO sheet. Look for RPO WS6 or F41.

with "loud lifters" you should be in the 20's. And im not kidding. That would mean your rockers are probably not tight also. I sugest you put the l03 into a cannon and let'er rip.

Ok, guys I just got back from the track............I only got one run in and I lost traction at one point, not sure why it is only a 305 Here is my time slip:

R/T ............... 1.03
60 ................. 2.560
330 .............. 7.255
1/8 ............... 11.129
MPH ............ 63.60
1000 ............. 14.491
1/4 ............... 17.353
MPH .............. 78.71

Whatcha guys think? I think I could have got a 16.9 if I wasnt spinning and wasnt so nervous. There were a couple of spots were I started to let off a little because the car seemed like it was loosing traction, but that was in my head. Was my first time, wish I could have gotten more then one run it........but there was over 250 cars there.

I am going to adjust my lifters and put a K&N on and maybe see what that does and get more runs next time instead of just one run.

Sound slike your having fun and isn't that what its all about. I guess you have another car so you weren't afraid of blowing up a poorly maintenced car pushing it hard at the strip. Curious what that GN will do you'll have to let us know.

Actually the trans am runs real strong for having 150k on it. I just got it a week or so ago. I had planned on going up and meeting my buddy with the GN, but the GN wasnt running right so I took what I had. I only made one pass.........and it wasnt any worse then flooring it on to the freeway. I will let you know how fast the GN runs when I get it up there..........I will be fixing lifters, so please dont worry, I do care about both my cars Thanks for the help on the code and suspension package info.
