My car, specifically. I am looking into getting a newer car (reliability and practicality reasons) and may be getting rid of both of my trans ams to get this car. I really don't want to do this, but I may have to.

Well, fully loaded, some mods, and DAMN nice looking... but, kinda high miles.
Around here I think that'd got for $4000.

I agree that the mileage seems high, but then I hear that the average car puts 10-12K/year on a car. Mine is a 88, so it's 15 years old, you do the math. However, when compared to other thirdgens, it is kinda high.
That'd be awesome if i could get $4K out of it if and when I do sell it.

mileage scares people away. my 94 has 168K and everyone i talk to likes the car till the mileage comes up, then they quickly change there mind.

Looks like a nice car.. don't know anything on US prices.. so I can't comment on that.. on my car I put about 6200 miles a year. currently at about 108,000 miles. (174,000 Km's).. the car had about 67,000 miles (108,000 km's) when I got it back in 1998.. didn't really like how much milage I put on it.. but I love to drive it. (when I have it on the road).. It would be a shame if you really had sell both of them..

What other factors are making you consider selling them both? I have a loving wife who wants me to keep the GTA even after we need a minivan to stick kids in... I can't see getting rid of my car, save for insurance climbing sky-high for me... That or a wreck, and it'd have to be a bad wreck at that. I'd gladly pay 4k for that car, if I had it... Hey, I'd even pay for shipping.
I would really love to keep the thirdgen, but the 95 is giving me troubles and the 88 hasn't giving me any...which kind of worries me cuz I don't know when it will start to. If you must know, I am looking into getting a 99+ WS6.
I am going to try to do everything that I can to keep my 88, cuz I love that car. I would truly hate to get rid of it...but when reilability and technology/safety is a factor I may have to part with it.

you could prolly get $3-3500. it really depends on who you sell it to. my advice is put a for sale sign on it for a little more than you want now. if you get what you want then sell it. if not wait til you have to.
