I'm pretty sure they are a dealer add-on. When we got our '99 Firebird, we paid extra for them. Not sure on the 3rd gens tho.

They are a dealer add o on, even though you could get the mud flaps from GM. I have them on mine they say Z28 in silver on them.

I think that looks really good! Plus, it protects your 1/4s from road debris. Did those come with your car, or did you buy them separate?

man, i still have a pair of IROC ones from gm in the package somewhere,came with my brothers 87 iroc when he bought it new back in 87...didnt instal them though.......he also removed his shoes when he drove that car also........

I have them on my 84 -Z. The original owner bought
them as a option in 84. They have a silver Z-28 logo
on them.
(1) They really work to keep crap off the sides of the
car.
(2) I get compliments on them. They add to the overall
appearance.
(3) Try to find all (4) in good shape.
If ya got em, keep em. It's the little things that make
your car more interesting when doing a restoration.
