fact or fiction?????
after reading thru the resto kit i got,it states that IROCs with gold inset on the wheels have black/gold striping,compared to silver or gray insets have the usual black/silver striping.can anyone confirm seeing a IROC with gold/black stripings???

send me some more pics of yours,?that's what i'm trying to get mine looking like,i've had my car for about 2 yrs. now,it is pic in sig. had wrong iroc stickers on doors(been removed),car had a repaint previously and had the silver over black wrong for a '89,now i have only 2 rear 16" gold inset wheels,and painted the 15" to match,now my nose bumper cover and tail bumper cover need to be refinished,thinking of striping with black/gold

That was an exercise in futility. Basically took a poster-sized illustration, scanned it in three segments, assembled the segments, then reduced the size (causing a noticeable loss in resolution). At least I tried. Here's the result (yuk!)

As far as I know, there is no way to tell from that pic. I "think" it was in the 88 brochure. I have the 89 brochure, and it's not in it.....but it could be from another chevy brochure.
