Nah it was just a black and white written ad in hemings. A google search turned up nothing. I have a theory though, Garrett makes turbos and the car supposedly has 700 hp, so maybe a turbo V8?

I'm thinking more like a Levi Garrett sponsored race car... like Trans Am series or the like.

Levi Garrett... think tobacco, not turbo.

Yeah I remember that car. It did have just a few special performance parts added. I think GM farmed it out to the Reher-Morrison shop. It didn’t sell very well due to the high price and poor gas mileage.

Here’s a shot I took of it at the 1986 World Finals in Pomona.

Ohhhhh..... good call on that one. I checked that out and think that you may be right. I was able to find a number of sponsored cars on my search.

Alright, nice work there Jon! I knew someone around here would know. I can imagine the EPA would hate those things running around the streets.

Of course in 1986 I was 5 so I don't remember.
