They are around here. The LT1 style 4th gens are about the same price. In alot of the auctions, the 3rd gens are selling while the early 4th gens aren't moving.
lack of good detailed photos
and NO shipping was the biggest problem. I bet if someone remarket it with better photos, completly detail the crap out of it and made shipping available. Im sure it would go for more $$$

WEll i think what hurt him is the pictures show some very nice rims, but he says they don't come with the car. I'd bet that if he sold the car with those rims he could have made $8K or more, and cleaning up the engine bay would have helped to.

Yup, that means nothing, it's eBay. (and was most likely a no reserve car) Do some searches on AutoTrader and Hemmings for L98's or just lower mileage cars in general and look what they're going for. Sometimes cars do go for lower than what they're worth, sometimes they go for more. Regardless, some Thirds are getting too expensive.
