My '91 RS has what I was told was the Z28 suspension option, ie, I have the 16" aluminum Z28 wheels and larger Z28 sway bars. Was there an RPO for this option?

If it is like all the other years, it will be RPO code Z28 = Special Performance Option.

It should be F41 not Z28, which is a different model then the RS.

I believe the only way to get the Z28 specific suspension was to have a B4C.

The 16" wheels were available as an option and required the V8. The only suspension upgrades I know of were for the Z28 and were either G92 or 1LE specific.

yeah, it's F41 and was base suspension that the 91/92 Z28s got unless they were optioned with FE2 suspension or 1LE package. But us RS guys didn't get the rear discs with it

Cool. Yeah, sucks that we didn't get the rear discs. Thanks.

Good handling car. M.T. tested a '91 RS with F41 and got .90g on the skidpad. That's better than most of the 4th gens.
Enjoy it!

The RS and Z28 had the same GFX in '91. Mine does not have the '91-'92 Z28 'high-rise' spoiler, just the three piece 'lip' spoiler.
