HELP!?!? Again...
I need some help finding the special Tailights for my 1984 15th Anniversary Trans Am... They are just like the regular 82-84 tailights only the "black" grid lines that run horizontal are "white". The center section has a "blue" bird instead of the regular one... I can't find them anywhere... I will settle for just the center section because I cannot duplicate the blue bird however I can just paint the left and right sections to match... Please post or email any suggestions/help. I have also posted a "PARTS WATED" ad in the classifieds section. Thanks in advance! jdiazjr83@hotmail.com

I am not extreemely familiar with the 84 aniv., tailights, but would it be possible to take a standard center section and paint it white, like the pic., and then get a Blue Bird Decal made at a local sign shop. I have a CorelDraw! File with the correct 3rd gen bird from my Formula, it may need to be tweeked, but it may work...
Just a thought.

It would be possible to paint a set of regular 82-84 T/A lights., Just lots of masking is involved. The bird is unique to the 15th though.

Anyone got a closeup of the bird?

The 15th taillight bird is identical to all the birds used on that style light except for the colors. (flat, insert, not curved like the later style) The bird is blue with white trim. The blue often fades to a light blue. It should be a deep blue (same color as all the other blue trim).
I literally have a set of 15th T/A taillights about 6" above my monitor on my desk here. So if you want to know what they look like, just ask, lol.
Im sorry, but I do not want to sell the lights.

SUCCESS!!!!
Thanks for all the great ideas! My buddy Ricardo had the same thoughts (I gues Ford guys are good for somethng...). Who ever swapped over to the 86 taillights was nice enough to leave the broken 84 center section specific to the car in the trunk. We used a heat gun to safely remove the blue bird. Once it was off we did notice the color fade mentioned above. We then sprayed the back of the bird with a perfect match blue that was laying around his basement. The next step was to win an eBay auction which had what seems to be a perfect complete set of 84 Trans Am taillights. Now we just have to wait for them to arrive and we can get masking and spraying! Thanks again for the help. I'll post some pics when I get some...
P.S.
After going through this ordeal, I don't blame TAdan for not letting those lights go!!!!
