Im looking for the paint code for my 1987 Pontiac Firebird,can anyone help me out?It'sdark gray/silver.

 

There was a color called Medium Gray Metallic. It was color code 84. It was used as an upper color with a silver lower color, and it was the lower color for the silver, white and yellow upper colors.

It was available as a solid exterior color for the GTA, but not the Firebird or Formula. The only solid color options for Firebirds and Formulas were white, bright blue metallic, black and bright red.

 

This is from my poor copy of the "1987 Pontiac Firebird Car Order Worksheet." I cropped only the Firebird/Formula colors and trims portion of the worksheet to keep it large enough to be legible.

 

LA, where did you get the worksheet???

John, PHS sent me a copy of the 1988 order sheet in each packet I ordered from them several years ago. I have all the order sheets for 1987-1992, including the 1991 and 1992 convertibles....

 

The worksheet was from Pontiac Historical Services. It was part of the package about my car.

The package came with the worksheet, a copy of the dealer invoice, a copy of the literature showing seat styles and fabrics, a thick stack of specs for the '87 Firebirds, a glossy b/w photo of a 1987 Formula, and some promotional write-ups for 1987. I got a copy of the window sticker too, but that was extra.
