Did all 91-92 T/A's get WS6 wheel caps?
Reason I'm asking is because every single 91-92 TA I've seen has them. Even mine has them and I don't have a Ws6 car.
Anyone selling there Firebird caps?

Every one I've ever seen has them as well. Maybe since the 16" wheel was standard on the T/A in those years, PMD decided to just use the WS6 caps.... Who knows?

I belive the caps were the same, but the emblem in the middle was a bird instead of the WS6 cap.
Of course it would have been a cheep change for a dealer to pass off a F41 car as WS6, pop off the center emblem and put on a WS6 one to sell it for more
However I highly doubt any dealer would be so low down and sneeky

The parts & illustration catalogs show the following:
Interestingly enough back in 1992 it apperas as tho they sold the cap and the nut as one unit. now they sell them seperately.

and page 2. not as important for the topic, but gives some RPO definitions nonetheless.

My car does have F41, so I figured maybe GM just put them on because F41 is basically the 'old' Ws6 suspension. Maybe?
And again, I have never seen a '91-92 TA with firebird centercaps, only the WS6 center caps.

to be honest, all I have is the above information. But in reality anything is possible. I have seen previous year cars with the following years options. Things that are "not suposed to be" It would not surprise me if someone put them on in the factory and it was never caught, Or if they were all like that.
If I remember to look at the T/A nats, I will check and see on the other cars.
The F-41 cars also got narrower tires, I think they were 215's instead of the 245's like on the WS6 cars. I have seen that...

It did have 215's on there as well. Those simply had to go!
Hey Jon92TA, do you have any pics of your car with the 'Birds'?
I don't want to have a poser WS6 car anymore. Ebay has some good deals on center caps for like $60 shipped brand new.
