350 Formula door sticks
Any help on how to put these on,... My car lacked them so I'm bringing it up to date. Will need new Formula decals and the bird for the front and rear bumper, but no hurry on those. I bought two sets of the 350 Formy decals, both GM OEM

How nice for you... I don't have the most excellent options...so, anyway, for a back yard, parkinglot mechanic, who do I apply these?

If current weather is 20 to 40 degrees, can this be done indoors for a short time period? Is the backing labeled 3M Scotchcal to be removed before applying to the surface? That part is a bit technically stated for me in the instructions
Thanks, Scott!

60!!
One day forcast of 60 but with rain also...damn
anyway, what type of squeegie can I use? Do I need all the special tools mentioned?
I'd like to make do with what I have but no paint prep materials here
I see the backing is removable, just didn't notice. It seem you would tack these in the middle section and work outwards, pulling the inside backing, cuttin near tape, then applying and squeezing the sticker to the surface, repeating the opposite side, but that leaves the tape in the middle and the tape for the sides I think are for reference of the edges only?, in other words, not holding anything? It seems if the tape is holding the sticker, unapplied, you can't get the backing off. There is also a front backing and leads to more confusion for a newbie like me.
What is the difference in the wet vs. dry?
Is that a type of decal?

It's better to do it wet. Use the tape to hold the decal where you need it to be centered. Pull back a small section of the backing tape so it will stick to the car where the tape is placed. Install it lightly so you can grab the backing paper. Keep the decal and the vehicle surface wet while you gradually pull the backing paper off. Use a decal plastic squeegee to work out any air bubbles as you remove the backing paper. When one side is done, start the other. You can probably get a squeegee from home depot in their window tint section. Or you can check with the dealership detail/body shop and see if they have a spare. They are cheap and usually come with decal sets. A local decal or sign store will also have some.

There are 50s in our forecast, but we just got outta winter mode here... Things are heating up slowly. Anyway, by wet, to clarify, you refer to the solution of detergent and water? Spray it on decal back and the car surface while applying? Also, I have a rubber window squeegie but nothing that's plastic, far as I know. Will have to find that, paint prep is still a no go, looked yesterday.
There is a question of what detergent I might have ( just checked... nothing I can find that sounds right) that would work. Outside of those mentioned above, any ideas?
Thanks for your help, appreciated of course
