How much would an 85 Iroc in mint condition be worth without an engine and trans? There is about 30,000 miles at most on the body.

Not mint without engine and tranny. But for an 85 Iroc body I would pay around 1 to 1 1/2K since 1985 was the 1st year for Chevy Iroc-Z

Who cares if 85 was the first year for the IROC. I wouldnt pay more than $500 for it. I paid $400 for my 84 TA I have now. The car is immaculate, except it didnt have an engine when I got it. Its an original L69 car, auto, 3.73 posi disc rear, with 70,000 miles on it. The only thing that halps that Camaro, is it might be a little bit more desirable.

Oddly enough the Trans Am's Formulas and GTAs seem to bring slightly more for the same car than the IROC or Z28. They were more expensive in the get-go and there are nota s many. The base camaro seems to go for more than a base Firebird tho, but that seems to be the case around here.
As for your question, I would think around $800 - $1000 for a perfect condition IROC w/o engine & trans

I would buy it just because it's mint. I don't care for any Iroc that isn't an 88/89 though, personal preference
I'd pay what it would cost to get mint doors, fenders, 1/4's etc. off a parts yard, so about $500-600.

hard top or t top? is the interior intact? for a complete 30k 85 iroc less engine and tranny id paid 1500 - 2000 for it, its hard to find rust free, straight cars that are original.

I dont know about 30K miles...but mint, rust free bodies...yes. Like I said, I paid $400 for my 84 TA with no motor. The interior looks like it just rolled out of the showroom, the body is perfect, never been wrecked, and except for the 350...the car is all original. This TA is not by any means the first car I bought like this.
