Friend of mine has some BBC heads casting #3873858

Had them on his Camaro, wants to sell them to somebody who is interested and he asked me if that was a rare casting #. I looked it up and it looks like they were only produced in 1966. Other than that, i have no idea. Anybody know what kind of car those heads came on or any idea how much they are worth? Thanks guys appreciate it.

Those were the heads on anything with a high-perf 396 or 427. 109cc chambers, rectangular intake ports, closed chambers.

Yes they are for sale, however not by me through a friend. Ill let him know tomorrow somebody else is interested. What are you offering?

 

depends on how they look? any cracks? where they magnaflushed? i know cast bbc heads dont go for alot to.
