It has the aftermarket Cars and Concepts T-top kit in the car. It was originally a hardtop car. Both my '86 Bird and '87 GTA have these t-tops. Plus the wrote the VIN down wrong or something is up

You can tell easily by the pic the larger gap between the windshield and the tops, notice it is about twice the width as the A pillar. The factory Tops were the same distance roughly.
