1987 Chevrolet Camaro coupe, 305 4bbl LG4. There's no way to tell if it's a Z28 from the VIN.

with no RPO's, it will be hard to say if it is a true Z28.
Another plus for Pontiac, they have it in the VIN if it's a GTA or Trans Am

You MIGHT be able to take the VIN to a dealer and get a list of RPO's
Pontiac goes back to the early 90's Chevy is suposed to go back further tho.

well i think i'm still on the right track...the shell is completely rust free(hard to find up here in wisconsin) and it came with ALL of the body parts i need (fenders, bumper, full set of gfx, doors, hatch, perfect quarter panels) so all i'm going to need is interior if i even go that route. right now including fiberglass repair on some parts done by myself i'm in about $400 for the entire car...and i have a motor and trans from my last car waiting for it...i couldn't find a decent rolling chassis with everything around here that was decent and a good price so heres my new project haha. but yeah i know what you guys are saying...but i feel a long cold winter coming on here so i figured might as well keep busy
