91 Formula 350
Hi, I have a 91 Formula 350, and I was wondering about a gold punchout sticker I have under my hood that says this car is equipped with an approved performance package from SLP engineering, and lists the following items with a hole punch next to each: Air induction system, Intake Manifold runners, Exhaust header system, Exhaust pipe system, ECM calibrator. Does anybody know what's the deal with this? Performance wise or production number wise? Thanks in advance.

Engine: LS1 / LS1 / LSA / 5.7 Hemi
Transmission: 4L60E / T-56 / 6L80E / W5A80

Sounds to me like the dealer-offered SLP performance package offered in '91, and possibly '92?? Am I right guys?
Assuming it is, I have HP, torque, and performance #s on this engine in a GTA. Go to my site, www.geocities.com/jee89 and look under the '91 Firebird road test stats. Hot Rod did a test of one of these engines in '91.

Yes, that sticker would denote the installation of the dealer-supplied SLP kit. Each individual item is marked upon installation, so it is easy to see at a glance what all has been modified on a particular car. The parts were available as a kit or individually, so the purpose of the label makes sense.
Go the the GTA Source Page Road Test/Reviews section for a complete road test and specs on a 1991 GTA with the SLP kit installed..... it DID make a difference
