I am looking at a 1989 Iroc and I have the vin code but I can't get the check digit to match. I don't know if I am doing it wrong or what. The vin is:

The check digit has to be the same as the remainder and it doesn't match. It is multiplied by 10 but that is it. letter X=7 not 10

 

 

You're right, it was late and I didn't think about it too much. The VIN is correct.
