Teal most common 91 RS color?
The Book says there were 22,093 Camaros painted Dark Teal. The next highest production color was Bright Red, at 19,082. And that color was available on both Z28s and RSs, unlike Teal which was a RS color only. So yes, Teal was the most common color on a 91 RS.

I have seen a couple Teal Z28's. I don't know if they were 91's or 92's though.

i have mystic teal on my 91 rs and it was the first year for this color and it was the most popular color for 91, i do believe you can still get the mystic teal on some of the newer Z's and rs's correct me if im wrong.......it is a very cool color.....at night it looks so sweet and during the day it's just like the water here in NW florida "emarlad coast" its gulf of mexico water of course, not drinking water.....

Yeah...I like the teal on my RS because it changes color as the light changes.
After dusk, it looks like a deep green...but in the bright sun it looks nice and blue. I just gotta get some chips in the roof fixed

People are like "is that your green firebird?" or "is that your blue firebird?". They never know what color it really is!

Hi,
We have a 91 RS Convertible and we just had it repainted a few months back. Mystic Teal which was the original color.
The guy at the body shop told me that this paint had ALOT of perl in it and the paint was just over $700 a gallon. I saw the receipt!
ANYWAY!!!
We picked up the car during the evening and it was already dark outside. The guy who painted the car drove it under a light so we could see the paint job. He came around the corner with a deer caught in the headlights look and said to us " I swear the car is green"!
We go over to the car and it looks its painted midnight blue metallic.
He keeps telling us that it's green and was very worried about it.
He then pulls the car into one of the paint bays and turns on the lights. Sure enough the car was green.
Funky color!
Even during the day it changes colors depending on if you are wearing polarized sun glasses or not.
With the glasses on it appears blue, take the glasses off and it's green.
Biggest problem I've had with the paint is trying to capture it on a digital camera. I've tried to take pictures at all different times of the day and can't get it to come out right. It's not blue or green but more like a seafoam color. Really weird!
Anybody got some tips as to how I can take a picture of it??
