the last GTA

someone in a previous post asked what the last GTA was, it was VIN 1G2FW23F6NL227529 it was built on 08/27/92 the last day of production for the '92's and the Van Nuys plant. the last '92 Firebird was VIN 1G2FS23T3NL227568. the GTA was sold at Concord Pontiac-Honda in Concord, California, it was bright red, had T-tops, 700-r4, 5.0 TPI, gray leather exc... Current Mods/Upgrades: 80 Series Dual Outlet Flowmaster, TPIS Air Foil, K&N Air Filter, and Mobil 1.
Future Mods/Upgrades: None but a complete restoration.

I thaught all gta were 5.7?Exept for the five speeds?

Nope...normally, you would be correct. But, the LB9 was available as a credit option for an auto-equipped car, too.

That's a damn good question. The question I've been asking is could mine be the first GTA of the '91-'92 body style built. It was built on the 2nd of March '90 and the sequence number is 201230. If you could help me out I'd appreciate it.

Can't say for sure, but it's very unlikely you have the first one. In 1992, VIN 200149 was a GTA and there may have been others before it. So if such a low GTA VIn exists for 92, it probably exists for 91 as well.

"Unlikely" but quite possible. The build date for mine is pretty early. That's one reason for me looking. I haven't found any with an earlier vin yet.
