OUT OF STORAGE!
finally after a LONG winter up here in Maine its time to take out the bird! Its 70 degress and very warm out and perfect for a drive. When I put the car away it ran fine so hopefully after the battery is charged and new gas is in it will start right up. Now I can put on the ram air hood and get it out of the basement!!! Is anybody else getting there car out of storage soon???

My MSE has been in the backyard under a car cover all winter. I'm thinking in the next couple of weeks I'll wake it up.

I drive the car every day, why own a car if you can't enjoy it.
But then again it's only been really cold for a couple of weeks in Tn.

I drive mine all the time, although when it's raining I take the suburban - mine has enough traction problems when it's dry out.

urban, your one of the lucky ones that doesn't know what salty roads will do to a car first hand. If you care about your car in the midwest and northeast, you store it in the winter time. My Daily driver had about a 2lb weight reduction over the winter time, and that's not the kind you want.

in oregon they put gravel onm the roads for traction instead of salt. so you just have to worry about paint dings and windshield chips.

the car started no problem at all on the first click. It feels great to get it to the house and work on a few things. Here in maine this car would be a snow plow and you WOULD die driving it in the winter so I put it in storage. You people are very lucky that you can drive year round!!! lol

Mines ready to go, just gotta do an oil change and fill the tires! Up here there's no way I would even get out of the driveway all winter. Our yard had about 4 feet of snow before it started melting! The 792,594 tons of salt they dump on the roads up here turns them almost as white as the snow it melts! I keep my sanity with my other toy, a snowmobile.

I went to wake up the IROC but it never woke up
It died in its sleep.....well the fuel pump did atleast. It fired up, stumbled for a second then died. I hit the key again then it fired up again and ran for a second then died again. So I put in 5 gallons fresh 94 octane (only had a 1/4 tank) hit the key again and didnt hear the fuel pump....so I ran in the garage and got the gauge and sure enough, only 13psi
Well it looks like the first bit of business is gonna be a new Wabro fuel pump. Yay spring......
