92 Heritage Convertible...
Found a 92 heritage RS convertible in Florida that i'm actually considering getting. I'd really like to know a ballpark of how many heritage RS verts were made. Just by using percentages i figured approximately 300?? I saw an ad in this months hemings for a 92 z28 heritage convertible and it said one of only 100, so 300 for RS verts doesnt seem too far off... Anyone have a better idea of how many may have been made??
Also, it needs some work. Hood supports, possibly repainted trunk panel, and maybe a new molding on the drivers side. Approximately how much am i looking at to get that stuff done back to original specs??

ah forget about it. I'm not even gonna waste my time on the car. Its got alittle too much wrong with it for 54,000 miles (oxidized paint, very dirty interior, its been hit, etc.). hell when i got my old heritage it had 45,000 miles and not a thing wrong with it. If im gona spend all the money i have now its gona be on a car thats 100%. Thanks for everyones help...
The search continues...
(alittle off topic but do you guys think i can get another mint condition thirdgen for about 6-7k??--my price range??)

mint for 6-7k? i doubt it unless its an RS. what about the 92 Z28 convertible you mentioned? its getting harder to find a 3rd gen with those kind of miles...it seems like you either find them with 100K+ miles or 20k miles....well at least where i live.
you could get a nice Z28 or IROC for 6-7k, it may not have 45k miles on it but 60-80k miles isnt that bad.
im sure u know to take your time and not just jump on the first car out there...just keep looking, the wait will pay off
u know u want TPI!! lol
