WEIRD GAS GUAGE!!!!

I took a look at a Camaro Im interested in buying today. Its got this weird gas guage that had gallons on the right side of the guage that goes from 16 all the way down to zero and on the opposite side it has liters from the bottom (being full) to the top being zero if I remember correctly. Is this RARE?!?! It also has the dual need speedo with mph on one side and kph on the other. The guy said it was a 1987 with a 2.8 carb but i think he might be wrong on the year. If it helps it has factory delete ac, and 5 speed manual. What in the heck is this Sport coupe??? LT???? Ive been searching all night and cant find a thing about the fuel guage and only one thread on the speedo which wasnt very descriptive. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRIECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!! (frustrated) Grrr!! Oh, by the way the fuel guage is in the place of the tach and has a little shift light at the bottom with all of the rest of the idiot lights.

Rofl, I love how everyone thinks anything differnt is rare. Not rare at all, the same gauge is in my friends 82 Camaro, and I think it was in most SC's.

Yes, this was the gage package for the '82-'84 sport coupes w/o the optional tach.
