Anyone save your window sticker

Seventeen years ago i thought it would be cool to save the window sticker from my trans Am. I was just wondering if anybody else has theirs. Whats funny is looking at it today i noticed that it says my car should have the leather appointment group and it does not. I am pretty sure it means leather steering wheel, shifter, and e-brake handle. And yes i've owned it since it was new. Can anyone shed some light onthis.

I got the window sticker for my Camaro. The previous owner had it along with the owners manual, maintenance pamphlet, and tire information pamphlet. All I'm missing is the build sheet.

I have mine. In fact I have it all for my '92. Build sheet, RPO, Dealer Invoice and window sticker.

Is there a company that makes window stickers? I thought I read that.

I have the original window sticker for my car too. Mine was never placed on the car as the original owner was great friends with the guy who owned the dealership so he ask to not have it put on the car.

I've got mine, came with the TA when I got it. I framed it and am displaying it at shows along with the owners manual and original '92 brochures.

Note the leather appointments is listed under 'Standard Equipment', then under optional equipment you've got a listing that says '4-spoke sport steering wheel' with a $50 credit? There you go.

That 17 year old window sticker still looks like the ones on new GM cars even today.

I still have my 84 Z28 sticker. Think it listed for 15,7xx with all the options. Been quite awhile since I've seen it.

Hold on to them. Those ripoff artists over at PHS want about 65.00 for the window sticker because they won't make the window sticker unless you buy the dealer invoice first. They won't do it not that they cannot do it.

35 for the window sticker is high enough. Not many will go 65. You guys should have them laminated.

PHS is highly overpriced for our cars, IMO. I just got my packet, and it really served me no purpose. The only thing that actually applies to my car specifically is the factory invoice, but even that has little information on it that I did not have before. Then there is a stack about 1/2" thick of space filler. Perhaps for older cars these packets are more useful, for making sure certain cars had certain RPOs, but this was a waste of $35 for me, unfortunately. And the window sticker would have been another $30 or $35.

Does anyone have a PHS repro window sticker? Does it at least look good?

My thoughts and concerns exactly, a bunch of filler. I didn't even want the dealer invoice...just the the window sticker.

I would like to see one of their window stickers too.

The guy at PHS got pissy when I repeatedly questioned the necessity for the dealer invoice to make the window sticker. I even asked, well if you need that why not pull up
the info for the dealer invoice or print for your purposes ...then make the window sticker from that. I even suggested charging a little more than the $35 to cover "their trouble" for pulling up the info for the dealer invoice. This just seemed to **** him off when I repeatedly asked why ? He had no answer. Kinda like when your 12 and dad said " just because I said so".

I'm not not 12 anymore and people like that don't get my business.

Not to turn this into a PHS bash thread, but in this day and age I find it severely inconvenient that I had to fax my order form without being able to talk to someone! I would have ordered this much sooner and actually would have done it for my Formula if I could order it online. Of course I also would have been disappointed sooner too.

Well, I bought mine new and couldn't save the sticker - had to soak it with water to get it off the window. I wonder how anyone else got an original sticker off w/o wrecking it.

Did I save my window sticker.....let me think....HELL YES!!!!!
When I was signing the paperwork my buddy came in and said he'd take the window sticker off. Got a razer blade and left. After I was done and ready to go, keys in hand, got in the car, looked around, and asked where's the window sticker. My "buddy" said he threw it away. I said go get it and he asked why. It doesn't matter why JUST GO GET IT.
So after almost 16 years it's hanging in the garage. The rest of the papers and "stuff" that came with the car or I received in the mail after buying it I've kept. Yes, that's the original cassette that came with the car. Even kept the one and only recall notice for the fuel tank filler neck. I wouldn't have that except I didn't receive it until after I got the second notice. I took the second notice in to have that one turned in and kept the 1st for my records. Rescently, after someone cracked my front emblem, I found the exterior build sheet that was behind the front facia. Another piece of the puzzle. Wished I'd found that when it was new.
I keep the owners manual in the rear locked compartment. I also have a showroom catalog.

Hey 1991l98g92 it looks like your cassette is unopened is that correct. I also have the cassette still, haven't listened to it in years but the begining of it gets me all pumped up. I don't know if theres a sound bit on the sight but if not i will try to post it. For those of you who have not heard it it is very cool. I also have all the stuff you all have even the emergency plastic key has been in my wallet for 17 years.

I listened to the cassette on the second day I bought it (if you look at the picture the cassette is coming out the top). That started my long and mind boggling search to why my car didn't have rear disc brakes. wasn't until a few years ago I got a hold of the "White Book" that my search was over. My plastic key is still in the owners manual along with all the other "stuff" that came in it. It was never cut by the dealer so it' has not been of any use. I figured if the door locks ever got changed it may be useful to the next owner (if any).

Oddly enough, I have all the documentation EXCEPT the window sticker. Owner's manual, cell phone pamphlet (huge back then), info sheet for the child safety latch, original bill of sale. Few other things as well.

I did get one of those PHS window stickers. They look exactly like the pictures in the 1st post of this thread. Brighter and newer looking of course. But the information is all in the same format.

The only thing I didn't like about the PHS window sticker was that it displayed the sticker in US pricing and my car is a Canadian car (hence Canadian pricing). I asked them if they could change it, but they said no. So the sticker reads about $12,000 cheaper than the car really was.

What you might do is take it to a printing store and see if they can scan it to a jpeg or bmp file. Then edit all the prices to Canadian $$, what the exchange rate was then, or take an educated guess. It would be easy to do by copying existing numbers and pasting to make the numbers work. Also, change the MPH to KPH for the fuel usage rating if necessary. Then take it back to get it printed to size. I wish I had scanned mine before framing.

Then to a dealer in Ohio.
