L69 Brown Z
Guys how hard is it to find a brown and tan 2 tone Z from 1984 with a L69 5-speed? I am looking at one for about $1200 that just needs a clutch as far as I know, what do you guys think?

Mine was brown, originally dark Briar brown if I remember right, with a silver bottom. Had brown L/S seats. Loved that car. Too bad the computer shorted and caught the dash on fire

The car is pretty much solid, I spotted no rust and it is a hardtop. The clutch just slips really bad but after sitting for a few months and a jumpstart, it fired right up.
I just wish I could run across something like that down here in Louisiana. I would be all over that one for $1200 if it is in even half assed condition. I just cannot find a decent early 3rd gen Z to save my life. I had a new 82, and want to round up another. So far, no luck at all. All I can find are clapped out late 80's to early 90's RS cars. Keep in mind that I am fond of the carbed cars, but plenty of people are not. The L69 is the most desirable carbed motor of the gen. Good luck. Oldtimer.
