how would i go about doing that? tap on the car or a magnet?

even with a little bondo, could it be bad? or bondo is the hceap way where as welding in new metal would be better?

You can look for wavy/wrinkley spots or knock. If its a sunny day, you can kinda see the scratch marks if it was done hack.

Re: Myabe the car for me?

Drivers side back of the block will be a 5.7 cast into the block. Other wise try looking for a number stamped on a pad on the front passenger side of the block.

Re: Myabe the car for me?

$3k seems like an okay price to me.

The most you could get for that is $4k maybe. It's not that far off.

Just give it a good look and look for red flags.

Re: Myabe the car for me?

Car looks pretty good. It would definately be a fun first car. Just from the picture, it looks as if the drivers side door is slightly misalligned--> this could mean that its been hit. When you test drive it, make sure it tracks straight.

Also, when you go to look at it: PLEASE check EVERYTHING!! All the lights, Every air/heat/defroster setting, cruise control, wipers, hazards, radio, hatch release (if it has it), power locks, tires, exhaust pieces, etc. Your goal is to find stuff thats wrong with it. Then, you can subtract those from the cost and get a better price. Basically, no matter how nice it is, rip it apart trying to get a better price.

Good luck!

Re: Myabe the car for me?

I am seriously doing something wrong .... Why is it I don't get offers at 3,500 for mine yet something like that is near the same asking price of mine LOL .... or is it camaro's are more sought after?

my beef here is my paint is in great condition, under my hood is like totally factory looking to the eye, my interior is nice as well. power train wise 350/5speed yada yada .... how the hell are you guys getting such steep prices for your cars? yea I know alot are nicer then mine and all but I see junk ones sell at high prices too.

Where do you all list your cars?
