Two tone Iroc?
As far as I knew, Irocs came a solid color. Only Z28s and other models up to 87 could be two-toned. I found an 88 Iroc on ebay that is local to me with 26k miles. Looks legit to me. Its an amazingly clean car. The only thing I found wrong with it was that the car was dark red with grey ground effects. Could it be original or were the gfxs repainted?
The item number is 190151586240
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Two tone Iroc?
The IROC like the GTA AFAIK were all monochomatic, no 2 tone. THey did have some stripes but the GFX were always the same as the rest ofthe car... likewise 91 & 92 cars were all monochromatic...

Re: Two tone Iroc?
I just ran an autocheck on it, milage checks out no wrecks or anything reported. Were L98s even an option on the regular Z28 or was it an Iroc only? Car is clean, with only a couple of spots on the paint.

Re: Two tone Iroc?
I originally thought all Iroc's were a solid color. But wasn't positive.
Well, since the 'Z28' dropped the same year the 350 was added, 87 would be the only year they could be together. Not including 91-92s. I've never personally seen a 87 Z28 with a 350. So I guess the gfxs were painted at some time.
The car is actually only 5 minutes from my house. It's too bad Im at college right now or I'd go check it out. Maybe I'll send my dad to look at it.

Re: Two tone Iroc?
According the the "Camaro Whitebook" RPO-B2L was only available with the IROC and not with the Z28(top motor would be the LB9in '87.She's a '88 that that leaves out that she could be a Z28(as it was part of the IROC package). The eighth digit of the VIN being a 8 indicates that she came with the L98 originally.Tenth VIN digit J indicates she's a '88.
EDIT:As Okfoz stated IROCs came with monochromatic paint with lower accent stripes(that could be delted). It's interesting she has the paint scheme of an earlier Z28.Have you asked them if she's been repainted?

If you look at the pictures, it shows where the paint has that good ole Van Nuys clear peeling. According to Autocheck, it's a one owner, this guy probably bought it and just turned around and sold it.
