I have a 1988 Trans Am and the car is getting all new paint and bodywork next week. But im stumped and cant seem to find the paint code. Can you tell me where its at. Ive checked the door jams and under the hood/hatch panels but i dont see it. The car is a creamish white. Help me.

Anyone know what color white this is?

Re: Paint Code Location
If the SPID sheet is still in the center console, then there is a 4 digit code on the bottom of the sheet. It would read WAxxxx. That 4 digit code is the on the paint guy would use to get the right mix of paint. Not sure what the color is called, I'll try to look it up for you.

I'm sure that soon one of the guys that knows the paint code will chime in here. Or option 2, you can call a dealer parts dept and have them run the VIN for RPOs and they should be able to tell you the paint code.

Did you ever find the code? My 1986 Iroc is also the creamish white. I'd like to find that code.

Re: Paint Code Location
The paint code is 11 and the WA # is 3967 for the correct White used on '88 Firebirds.
