Look in the front of a Chilton's manual, for example, where all is explained. I'm unsure of what your title question means.Originally Posted by karl's-92'-z28

You can also take advantage of the RPO decoder on this forum. Post your RPO codes and that will tell most of the story.
What don't you know? You are telling us that it's a 92 Z28 with 350 and options. WHat info are you trying to get?
Ohh sorry Im trying to find out my RPO codes & what kind of packages my car came with.

Locate the RPO sheet. Check the console or the spare wheel well.

For a '92 the RPO codes are in the lockable compartment in the rear hatch area. It will be on the drivers side and you will need the door key to unlock it. There will be a sticker that is labeled Service Parts Identification. Those are your RPO codes. Download the decoder off this site and type in the codes. WAALAA you will then know what you have.
Thanks guys when I find it & punch it in I'll let you guys know what the hell I have...lmao, Thanks again, well hopefully the previous owner didn't change the compartment then that would suck.

The SPID (RPO sticker) will have a VIN # on it. If it matches the one on your ride (located at the base on the windshield), then you're in business.
If it doesn't match, then the RPO's aren't relevant for your car.
