My car is an Iroc that is painted black and has the gold decals and stripes. I saw one with the gold decals today and noticed that the CAMARO lettering on the fog light grill was painted gold. Is that how mine would have come from the factory or would it have been painted silver?

They all came from the factory with white lettering. If it was painted gold, its either a sticker insert the guy had made up, or he painted it gold himself.

 

Are you sure about that?I have 2 of them with gold lettering and they look factory to me

 

If the car had the gold package, i.e. rims and stripings, then the Camaro on the front will also be gold.

 

IIRC, when I purchased a new grill a few years ago, I had the choice of gold or silver.

Check the first pic in the following link. If you have the ability to enlarge the pic, you'll see that it's gold.

i stand corrected, i have never seen a gold one before, ive seen people paint them all different colors but i didnt know that you could get it gold from the factory, i guess you learn something new everyday.
