I found 2 camaros in a junkyard near me and I'm trying to look up the RPO codes from them to see if there is anything special about them, or any parts I can use to upgrade mine. I have most of the codes figured out but there are a few that don't make sense or aren't on my list at all. The ones that I can't find are:

82M
AR9
QHY
These are from a Berlinetta

and:
AR9
D6H
QYH
729
I9Q
These are from what looks like a plain sport coupe.

Also, there is a thirdgen Firebird there, the interior is pretty well stripped though. Can anyone tell me where the RPO list is on them? I mainly want to see what rear end ratio it has in it.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

729 IS SEATBELT COLOR, DK CARMINE (9)(91)
QYH IS TIRE SIZE P215/64R15/N WOL R/PE ST TL HWY
DH6 MIRROR I/S, SUNSHADE,ILLUM,LH_RH

As for the "82M" code.... all the "82" codes are interior trim color codes. 82 is Medium Grey; I have no idea about what the "M" specifies.

As for the "I9Q" code.... all the "I" codes in my books are listed as "Trim, Interior Design". This one would be I9Q - Trim, Interior Design (9Q).

If it is instead 19Q, then that would specify "Molding Color, Black".

This is all according to what I have here in my records, of course....

Looks like the code for a blackwall, all-season 14" radial tire to me.... looks like it could have been used on possibly either a base Camaro or a Berlinetta model. Hope that helps.

 

That makes sense. It's from a Berlinetta that has 14" rims on it. I have no way of knowing if they are the originals of course, but it makes sense now. Guess the list I have is a little off. Thanx again.
