You also got Turbo Trans AM/GTA Notchback rear seats (integrated headrests)?

Found this on eBay which shows the above:

Those are the rear seats used in the 1988 GTA Notchback, as well as the 1989 Turbo Trans AM. Since Greenlight also released a 1989 Turbo Trans AM model, that's probably where that came from.

Greenlight Toys stated a white 1989 TTA, then black and red 1989 GTAs will be released. I have yet to see the TTA, but their prototype did have T-Tops. I have not seen a T-Top version for sale and their notes mention (nor show) anything about T-tops on the red & black units.

Re: 1/18 die cast GTA!!

Mine will be here Friday But I wont get to check em out until sunday.

They are only offered in black and red. Except for the TTA that supposedly coming... The GTA's are only hardtops as far as I know.

I pre-ordered these things back in 06... They changed the "release date" about 10 times between then and now. And they are FINALLY on their way.

One good thing about when I pre-ordered...they were a good deal cheaper than they are listed now.

Ill take some pictures when I get my hands on them. I ordered two in black. One to leave stock. And one to swap parts from a 4th gen TA diecast...when I find one. When Im done modding it, it will look exactly like my old car...except no t-tops.

I wish they were t-top cars...beacuse I have the 1:18 knight rider...and its a t-top car. Im also alittle disappointed that the tail lights and front parking lights are stickers. They could have made those lenses pretty easy. But...Im happy they are coming none the less.

1,500 in Black
1,500 in Red

No mention of T-tops, and I'd imagine there won't be one.

Re: 1/18 die cast GTA!!

Ill probably pick up a couple of the TTAs when they come out too. One to leave alone...and the other to tear to pieces and paint to match my 86. haha.

Im sure the parts will be interchangeable. So you could put the TPI motor into it or whatever you wanted to do. I love doing that...mix and matching die casts and models.

I suppose my lack of smilie made it seem like an honest question rather than a side joke, since I know those rear seats only came in the 1988 GTA Notchback and 1989 Turbo Trans AMs as a Notchback owner. So unless you swapped rear seats for some reason...

A bigger scale version? I can't say I've seen one, but that doesn't mean that nobody ever manufactured one. Greenlight also has a smaller version (1:64) in black and red as well with some of the same details and features (opening hood).
