I was recently looking to pickup some cheap upgrades for my '88 Sport Coupe (see here for the journal) and ran into what looks like a great deal! The body is not real good, and the interior is kinda crappy, but I have most of that all good. It was a bit of a drive to pick it up (3 hrs total), but I think it was worth it!

It's an '89 IROC with no engine (I have a 383 almost done) or transmission (I have a 700R4). Here's the main highlights:

• 700R4 transmission x-member, shifter, accessories
• IROC front and rear suspension components
• IROC rear disc brakes (woot!)
• LSD rear end
• Driveshaft (didn't have one until now)
• T-Tops (not sure if I'll do the "upgrade")
• Electric door locks and window (mine are busted)
• Console and accessories (my console is trashed)
• Nice IROC taillights (one small crack in the passenger side)
• Upgraded 16" x 8" aluminum wheels

Hell Yea ! I would of bought it to. Great Find.

 

Double-check if its being an IROC is important. It should have an IROC grill and fog lights. All 89-92 disc brake cars had 11.7" rotors and PBR's.

Rims alone are worth more than that! Good score! My buddy here in Hawaii has been trying to dump a disc rear forever, too bad shipping is so high to the mainland

 

That is an outstanding bargain. You could part it out and get four times what you paid. Good score.
