Did Trans Ams have subframe connectors from the factory?
This may be a dumb question, but did the Trans Am come from the factory with subframe connectors?
This is a 85 TA with the WS6 suspension.

Another question, what about the brace that goes down the center of the car and attaches to the transmission and rear end?
Not sure what they are called, I think it's called a tunnel brace?

That's the torque arm. It controls the pinion angle.

So that's pretty much a stock part on all Camaro's and Firebirds? I'm parting the car out and am debating whether to remove it before I let the shell go.

Yes...The torque arm is stock on ALL 3rd gens. There were 2 diferent ones. Just the "lips" on the very front, facing opposite directions. Not sure when or why GM switched it, but I've never heard of the switch being a strength issue.
