Re: 1985 IROC Vs Trans Am road test

The article is a good one but is incorrect in one regard. It states that the 1985 IROC comes standard with the L69 4-bbl HO engine. We know that all Z28s (including the IROC) came standard with the LG4 engine that year. The L69 and LB9 were both optional.

Re: 1985 IROC Vs Trans Am road test

I've also got that Popular Hot Rodding February issue and that Motor Trend magazine issue mentioned above. But, I haven't been able to find anything on the 1985 1C5 California Iroc-Z. I'm interested because I have one. mr396 your pretty good at finding those rare magazine articles that I've read on this site. Could you try to find something on the 1985 1C5 California Iroc-Z, it would be greatly appreciated!

Two magazines that I've heard had articles on the 1C5 California Iroc-Z are the(March-April 1992) of the "Camaro Corral" Magazine and the "Camaro Trans Am" Magazine (winter 1985 Vol. 2, No. 1 Pg 42,43 article is titled "other Irocs.... the late L69 and one more reason to hate California. By L Sharke). I've never been able to find either one of these magazine articles. It would be great if anyone could find them. Post these or other articles. I'd also be interested in purchasing any magazines with articles. Thanks for your help.
