What colors we available for 3rd gen Formulas?

Also is there any site or location for production numbers of various colors for various year 87-92

Specifically with 350 amd T-tops

Far as breaking down numbers on such a combo--no such data is currently available. We don't even know how many 350 cars were made--let alone adding T-tops and a colour. Sorry

 

How about just what colors we available on the formula in 1987, 1988 & 1989.

ie. were there restrictions or were all colors available

 

Have you checked out www.3rdgenformula.com, okfoz has a lot of good info about the Formula.

 

MOST colors were available, I am not sure about ALL of them. The information is not clear honestly on my web site.

The Brown Metallic for example I do not believe was available in 1987 on the Formula, but the Yellow for 1987 & 1988 were Formula only colors.

As for your last question... I have heard a rumor of 1030 Formula 350's with T-tops in 1989. Consequently there were also 42 Formula 350 ASC Convertibles made from those T-top cars. 1989 for the most part was the only year (except for 1991 & 1992) that you could have gotten T-tops and a 350 on the Firebird. There were some cars that were exported, to Canada for example that got T-tops with the 350 and T-tops in 1987 & 1988, but none to the Us to the best of my knowledge.

I am searching for a particular 3rd gen. It will be a blue 87or89 Iroc 350 T-Top car

or a Formula ...I was hoping for Bright Blue, 350 & T-tops....looks like based on the above that will be a very rare dog if its a formula!! Yikes.

I guess 305 should be no problem if I dont find the Iroc and I go with the formula. Or I open up the search to other colors. Black, red seem much more common.

But the info is greatly appreciated thats what i needed to know.

my 90 formula 350 is and always has been black. im in the middle of deciding todo the body work and bring it back as clean as it once was and the formula decal coming off.

 

Mines red . Not exactly rare but I doubt I'll own any other third gens besides formy's after buying this one. I was aso thinking of taking that decals off but decided Im just going to leave the "350" part off when I paint it.
