My '56 Bel Air had them, but they weren't decals. They were chrome. I know it was an option in '56, and was more than likely an option on several other vehicles.

The "hockey stick" stripe was available on the '69 Camaro (except Z/28).
Other Chevys of the era, including Camaros, Novas and Chevelles had stripes available in various configurations depending on the year, but the only factory stripe I am aware of that could truly be called a "hockey stick" (vertical on the front fender and horizontal from there to the back of the door) was on the '69 Camaro.
The 2010 Camaro will also have this stripe as an option.
