Step by step

Hi everyone.
A question for anyone. First I have "worked" on cars since I was little. That is to say changed oil, tire, worked on brake and even helped change 2 engines. I know just enough to get in trouble. But now I want to actually get into a car fully.
What Im wondering is what is the best way to start so I dont get overwhelmed and give up. Is there a step-by-step guide, or way to do a frame-on resto. (Apt living sucks.)
I am one of the lucky vets that came back with PTSD, so this is going to be something to help me function better. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to know before I buy a basket case and end up wasting alot of money.

Re: Step by step

Whole lotta no aloha out there for you it seems. Coulda see not givn my two cents though not much to say.
Things I would have done differently. Engine compartment and underside. ALthough not seen much, having a refresh on these two things will make you vehicle stand out. You'll be glad you did. Another piece of advice, start out on things that will make it go up n running. That way it keep your appetite wet to keep going. Keep it safe by making sure brakes are in tip top shape. Then tackle the small stuff with a new paint if thats in your plans for dead last.
Mahalo for the sacrifices from a former K-bayr. Have fun with the restoration
